The Virtual Lab Project

Mentors and sponsors have been critical to my development as a physician-scientist.

As a way to pay forward, I'm passionate about mentoring diverse aspiring physicians and scientists.

I've been mentoring many of these ladies for many years now, however, the pandemic showed us that we had to find a creative way to continue those mentorship relationships despite the distance, stay on top of scholarly activity/productivity and support one another through the emotional toll of the pandemic in our lives.

The Virtual Lab was born to fill that need and create a space for aspiring physician & scientists to come together, collaborate on research, obtain mentorship, and support one another in pursuit of the dream to become physicians & scientists.
